The Reverend Canon Robert D. Edmunds,
Priest-in-Charge

The Trinity Vestry, on behalf of the collaborative Discernment/Search Committee between Trinity and St. John's Franklin, is pleased to announce that we have reached agreement with the Rev. Canon Robert Edmunds to become our new Priest-in-Charge (PIC) for the two parishes. Rev. Edmunds and his wife, Deborah, have been working in Jerusalem for the past three years, and prior to that he served as rector at St Andrew's Episcopal Church in Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. Father Edmunds will begin his full-time ministry with us on Sunday, September 18th. A letter from Rev. Edmunds has been sent to the parish e-mail list (and can also be read here). We thank all of the Search Committee members from Trinity who gave so much of their time and efforts to make this happen: Joe Wencus, Gretchen Hall, Judi Mitchell, committee co-chair Brad Davidson, Beth Herbst, and your two wardens, Chris Young and Jody Derick. Special thanks also to former co-warden Angela Podolsky, who was involved in this search process from the outset and offered much-needed advice and assistance, and to Father Eddy, for his wisdom and guidance throughout this lengthy journey. More details about our new PIC will be forwarded to parishioners in the coming weeks.  (Please provide your e-mail address to the church office, if you have not already done so, so you won't miss any information.)

The Reverend William Eddy,
Interim Priest

We wish to thank Father Eddy for the two years of his ministry at Trinity.  His humor and relaxed good nature have been wonderful and his guidance through our time of change very much appreciated.  We have enjoyed his time with us and we wish him the best of luck as he prepares to take his unique ministry to another parish in the diocese.

You can listen to some of Rev. Eddy's entertaining sermons here.
