"Saying Yes"

A Spring Retreat
Led by The Rev. Dr. Debbie Little Wyman
Offered at Bethany House by the Spiritual Life Center at Trinity Church

On Saturday, May 31st, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Debbie will talk about:

  •  The spiritual journey
  •  The importance of paying attention to all the invitations
  •  A bit of her own story

There will be time for silent reflection, prayer and the sharing of stories.

The day will end with the Eucharist at an altar built from collected items that represent the passions and commitments of those present.

The grounds at Bethany House are lovely and will be open to retreatants.

A delicious midday meal, prepared by the sisters, will be served.

A bit about the Retreat Leader:
Twenty years ago when Debbie was Director of Communications at Harvard Law School, she was led to begin a new “career” with the unsheltered, mentally ill, homeless people on the streets, in the train stations, and in the subway tunnels of Boston. In the summer of 1994, she began meeting with homeless people on the streets of Boston, offering sandwiches, friendship, and referrals. From that simple beginning, Ecclesia Ministries evolved. Today, others are ministering to the Boston congregation and Debbie's life is devoted to giving away to other cities what she has learned. Some 50 cities in the US, and Rio de Janeiro and London are creating ministries on the street with Debbie.

This chance to spend a day on retreat with our dear friend is a rare opportunity.

Please join us and RSVP by Friday, May 23rd. The cost of the day is $35. Make checks payable to: Trinity Church and mail to P.O. Box 55, Wrentham, MA 02093. Scholarships are available. For more information please call 508-384-3958.
